Pook Ricarte

​The UP Economics Society engages in numerous activities to promote community development among its members through our partner community, Barangay Pook Ricarte. UP Ecosoc continues to offer a helping hand to the community through its various projects such as medical missions, ACDCs and donation drives.

Scholarship Program

The UP Economics Society Scholarship Program (ESSP) was established to be able to give deserving high school and college students the financial means to continue and to finish their education. The program currently has 7 scholars and is managed by the Scholarship Committee. It allows the members of Ecosoc to empower and to make a significant impact on the lives of these students.

UP Transport Group

UP Ecosoc has recently devoted its time and efforts to supporting the UP Transport Group. Our call is for #BetterTransportPH by supporting the drivers of UPTG in their mission for transport justice. This was Ecosoc's main advocacy throughout Dimensions: UP Fair and it continues to push for this through various initiatives like TransportED, an educational discussion on the country's transport crisis.
