ACDC

ACDC is the staple socio-civic initiative of the UP Economics Society. Every other Saturday, members of the UP Economics Society hold educational sessions with its partner community, Pook Ricarte. Students ranging from kinder to 6th grade are individually tutored and supplemented with holistic learnings that aim to expand their knowledge both in and out of the classroom as they develop towards becoming more compassionate Filipinos.

DIMENSIONS:
​UP FAIR

Last February 16, 2023, the UP Economics Society successfully organized Dimensions: UP Fair 2023 — ibang mundo, ibang tugtugan. Dimensions showcased the biggest and brightest local talents in one big celebration of original Pinoy music while shedding light on a crucial issue that the country faces: people-centric mass transportation. Proceeds from Dimensions went to Jeepney drivers within UP and scholars under the Economics Society Scholarship Program

POOK RICARTE

Over the years, the UP Economics Society has constantly engaged in community development programs with its partner community, Barangay Pook Ricarte. Among the projects that were held are medical missions, ACDCs, as well as numerous donation drives

SERVICE PROJECT

True to its nature as a socio-civic organization, members of the UP Economics Society come together to participate in various community service projects such as the E-scholar: #PayitForward, Ecozania, Homes for Humanities, and Grand Caravan.

ESSP

 The UP Economics Society is always, and in all ways, for the Scholars. Headed by the Executive Vice President, the UP Economics Society organizes fundraisers such as UP Fair: Roots Music Festival and more recently Dimensions: UP Fair 2023 to aid its scholars in finishing their studies. Currently, the ESSP is assisting five college students.
